Pan Delta Final Round-Double header – Zhuhai, China (Holly is in the house!!!!!!!!!)

Beautiful as ever

Today is race 1 of the Pan Delta Round 3 in Zhuhai, China. I’ve been here since Monday testing out my new 2011 ZX10. The bike is running smooth and I am figuring out the benefits of traction control. First day out on the new bike, was a write off as we had tons of electrical issues but sorted them out later in the day. Tuesday, I did my best time ever at the track a 1.39.2. I got new leathers and equipment from Arlen Ness they look awesome. We tested until end of day Thursday and all went pretty smooth. I have never burned through so many Pirelli tyres in 4 days. Friday was qualifying and I was feeling sick and weak with flu like symptoms but when I got out for official qualifying I started to get some energy back and pulled in with a flying lap of 1.39.3 good enough for P1. I am feeling some pressure and just want to get out there and ride. This morning was official qualifying and the Factory Yamaha Team put in a blistering time of 1:38.4 pushing me to 2nd spot for race 1. Race one is at 1:25pm.
