We took Pole away from YES! Yamaha and that is not an easy thing to do. Heavy winds and cold weather changed the track conditions for all of us. My bike was tuned nicely but I had the wrong tyres on and my lap timer on board was not working.
We managed a 1:40.668 which narrowly beat out Yamaha with a 1:40.765. Both times were impressive as the winds made certain parts of the track almost unrideable.
Pirelli rocked as normal and BG ran the show like only they can do. The Kawasaki was awesome and it only took one lap in qualifying on fresh tyres to get the Pole.
Race starts at 9am for 3 hours so we will update tomorrow after the race. Wish us luck!
