July 28th was the day I was supposed to be racing the Suzuka 8 Hour but I had opted out several months earlier as my baby was due in this world right about the same time and I sure wasn’t going to miss that experience.
Sure enough, 10 minutes after my team finished a very impressive 17th overall at Suzuka (Over 60 teams entered including Haga, Schwantz, Johnny Rea, and plenty more fast guys…) Kaitlyn Renee Kruger was born in Montreal weighing in at 7lbs 4 oz.
